Built in 1816 and designed by architect John Bowden, St George’s Church is one of Belfast’s oldest surviving churches and a fine example of Georgian architecture. Located on High Street in the heart of the city, it is renowned for its grand classical façade, distinctive columns, and rich musical tradition. For more than 200 years, St George’s has been a place of worship, culture, and community, standing as a reminder of Belfast’s early development from market town to modern city.
