Ursula Burns at the Assembly Rooms
Belfast harpist and composer Ursula Burns is delighted to take part in Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026, bringing the harp back to life at Belfast's historic Assembly Rooms.
This iconic venue was the heart of the famous Belfast Harpers' Assembly of 1792, a pivotal moment in the preservation of Ireland's harp tradition. Through her performance, Ursula will reconnect past and present, animating the space with the sound of one of Ireland's most treasured instruments.
Her programme will feature a rich and varied selection of traditional Irish harp music, popular favourites and original compositions from her latest album, The Secret Melodies of Trees.
A Unique Belfast Performance
Performing inside Ireland's smallest mobile venue, the charming Cloud Truck Theatre, Ursula will bring the sound of the harp once again to the streets of Belfast.
Intimate, atmospheric and deeply rooted in history, this special performance celebrates both heritage and contemporary creativity, offering audiences a unique opportunity to experience the harp in the very place where its revival began.
Where heritage and new melodies meet, and the sound of the harp echoes once more through the heart of Belfast.
