The Half Room is a group of singers and musicians who grew up with the songs they perform. While the ensemble is relatively new, its members are all highly respected artists and accomplished singers in their own right.
The group features the evocative vocals of renowned Dingle singer Pauline Scanlon, alongside the rich, velvety voice of singer-songwriter Nicola Joyce from acclaimed Galway trio The Whileaways. Their harmonies are grounded by the earthy authenticity of vocalists Eoin Wynne and Fabian Joyce.
With minimalist guitar arrangements and subtle ambient accompaniment, The Half Room presents folk music in its purest form, allowing the beauty of the songs and the voices that carry them to take centre stage.
