About
This is a free event taking place across the festival, open 10am - 5pm. No booking is required.
‘Taking Flight’ is an installation inspired by the murmuration of starlings at the Albert Bridge created in collaboration with seniors groups across East Belfast over several months. Led by community artists Anna O’Kane and Ali Fell, and assisted by Carrie Neal and Ash Ashton, we spent 3 sessions with each of the groups, creatively responding to our experiences seeing these incredible birds.
This event is delivered in partnership with Engage with Age, and supported by the National Lottery through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
