Everyone has a right to good health, but in the six counties of Ireland people from poorer backgrounds suffer ill health and die younger, compared to those who are better off. Health inequalities is a term used to refer to the unfair nature of these health differences. Helen McNamee, lead author of CDHN’s research ‘Our Lives, Our Meds, Our Health’ Exploring Medication Safety Through a Social Lens (2023) will discuss same.
