The Melter Defence League is recruiting!
In a world full of melt (the bad craic, ideas and systems that push our buttons), it’s time to suit up and defend Belfast with creativity, courage and a bit of chaos.
In this playful intergenerational workshop, children and their grown-ups will build their own superhero identities and costumes using recycled, foraged and reclaimed materials - creating shields, masks, capes and symbols of resistance.
Together we’ll explore what it means to stand up for ourselves, our communities and the things we care about - turning everyday frustrations into art, power and imagination. A fun and gentle introduction to big ideas like fairness, community action and speaking up - all through making, play and movement.
Materials and snacks provided!
Bring old clothes and your best Melter Defence attitude.
Each ticket is for one child (4-7 years-old) and one accompanying adult
