Throughout the week, audiences can enjoy performances from Comhaltas branches and visiting artists from across Ireland and around the world, alongside youth orchestras, community collaborations and outstanding local talent.

The Gig Rig will offer performances from 11:00am to 11:00pm each day, with a full line-up and stage times to be announced soon.

Featured Artists

Sí Fiddlers

Donegal's all-female supergroup Sí Fiddlers brings together the power of thirteen fiddles moving as one.

Representing talent from Glencolmcille to Inishowen and everywhere in between, the group celebrates the rich fiddle traditions of County Donegal. While the fiddle has long been synonymous with Donegal music, this ensemble shines a spotlight on the outstanding female musicians helping to shape and carry that tradition forward today.

Their repertoire reflects the diversity and depth of Donegal's musical heritage, showcasing tunes and styles from across the county.

Conor Mallon & Band

Joining the programme is acclaimed Keady uilleann piper Conor Mallon, one of the leading pipers of his generation.

A Senior County, Ulster and All-Ireland Champion at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Conor began his musical journey with the Armagh Pipers Club, where he progressed from student to senior tutor before embarking on a full-time performing career.

He will be joined by an outstanding line-up featuring:

  • Paul Starrett – electric guitar
  • Jack Warnock – acoustic guitar and vocals
  • Fintan Mulholland – bodhrán and whistles

Together they combine virtuosity, energy and deep respect for tradition in a performance that showcases some of the finest contemporary musicians working in Irish traditional music today.

From the powerful sound of thirteen Donegal fiddles to the masterful artistry of one of Ireland's leading pipers, experience a day of exceptional traditional music in the heart of Belfast.
