Belfast Ukulele Jam
Public Singsong & Kazooalong
Belfast Ukulele Jam is a fun, friendly and energetic group of more than 60 players who create one of the biggest weekly singsongs in the city at The Deer's Head.
Known for their infectious enthusiasm, audience participation and feel-good performances, the group brings people together through music, laughter and a shared love of singing.
For Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Belfast Ukulele Jam takes over Victoria Square with a special public Singsong & Kazooalong celebrating Irish traditional and contemporary songs.
Join the Craic
The group will perform a selection of well-known Irish songs alongside a couple of easy traditional tunes arranged for ukulele and kazoo.
Kazoos will be provided on the day, and participants will be shown just how easy it is to join in. Before long, you'll be part of a giant crowd performance of a traditional tune alongside dozens of musicians and fellow festival-goers.
Whether you're a musician or simply looking for a fun and interactive Fleadh experience, everyone is welcome to take part.
A joyful, family-friendly celebration of music, singing and community participation in the heart of Belfast.
