The Annual James Connolly Lecture
This year's James Connolly Lecture will be delivered by Eddie Dempsey, General Secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT).
One of the most prominent trade union voices in Britain and Ireland today, Dempsey is known for his sharp political analysis and his advocacy for workers' rights, public ownership and international solidarity. He has become a leading figure in contemporary labour politics and working-class organising.
