Aidan Mulholland is a Belfast fiddle player, violin maker and highly respected specialist in the restoration of stringed instruments.

For more than three decades, his workshop in Cathedral Buildings served as an invaluable resource for musicians across Northern Ireland, providing expert craftsmanship, restoration work and support to generations of performers.

In 2022, a devastating fire destroyed Aidan's workshop, resulting in the loss of tools, stock and a collection of irreplaceable antique instruments. Despite this profound setback, his story remains one of resilience, dedication and an enduring commitment to the musical community he has served throughout his life.
