Weird Ireland with Brinsley McNamara Brinsley McNamara is a content creator, adventurer and author of Weird Ireland: An Unofficial Guide to the Island. Through his book, podcast and hugely popular Weird Ireland social media channels, he has travelled the length and breadth of the country uncovering the strange, curious and often overlooked stories that make Ireland unlike anywhere else. From holy wells and ancient traditions to cryptids, folklore, forgotten historical sites and uniquely Irish food culture, Brinsley explores the people, places and customs that exist just beyond the tourist trail. The ethos of our jams is to provide an open platform to all who want to get up and join in with our house musicians for a totally improvised night of music.
