Creative Workshops at Golden Thread Gallery Celebrate the spirit of the Fleadh through visual art at Golden Thread Gallery, with a vibrant programme of free creative workshops and drop-in activities led by the Gallery's Engagement Team. Taking place from Tuesday 4 August to Saturday 8 August, these family-friendly sessions explore themes of tradition, storytelling and creativity, offering opportunities for visitors of all ages to get hands-on and make something inspired by the festival. Workshops & Activities Draw and Score Translate the rhythm, movement and tempo of traditional music onto a giant collaborative canvas, creating a collective artwork inspired by the sounds of the Fleadh. Share Your Story Capture your Fleadh memories by illustrating a personalised book cover inspired by the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the festival. Clay Badge Decorating Create a wearable keepsake inspired by the craftsmanship and decorative traditions of traditional musical instruments. Nautical Pennant Workshop Celebrate Belfast's maritime heritage by designing and decorating your own colourful nautical pennant.
