Presented by Smashing Buttons, the MOIRO (Music of Irish Origin) Stage is where traditional and contemporary artists come together for a two-day, genre-bending celebration of Northern Ireland's musical heritage.
Expect explosive blends of Trad, Rock, Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, House/Techno, Pop and The Blues, as local artists explore the sounds and influences that have shaped music across the island over the last 80 years and beyond.
The MOIRO Stage showcases some of the most exciting emerging and established talent from across Northern Ireland, highlighting the many ways tradition continues to evolve and inspire new generations.
Saturday 8 August Lineup:
7pm – 7.40pm - Noble Jonson
8pm – 8.40pm - :Panic :Over
9pm – 9.40pm - Antwan Ruiz & Becky McNeice
10pm – 11pm - Evo & Neal McClelland
The Saturday evening line-up features funk master Noble Jonson, Ed Sheeran protégé Antwan Ruiz performing with **Becky McNeice. Rising hip-hop artist Evo and Downtown Radio’s Neal McClelland will close the party with a bang. Leave your minds at the door, as you will surely lose them!
At the centre of Saturday night’s programme will be :Panic :Over. Fresh from sold-out headline shows and festival appearances at home and at the WorldEXPO in Osaka, Japan, the young Bangor band will take to the stage at 8pm.
This is a ‘no cost/low cost’ event. Kids go free, £4 Concessions, £5 Adults. Kids are welcome to stay until the end at 11pm!
