Man of Aran

Man of Aran is a 1934 silent film by Robert J. Flaherty, portraying life on Ireland's Aran Islands.

The film powerfully depicts islanders battling the sea, cliffs and the hardships of life on the edge of the Atlantic, capturing both the resilience of the community and the dramatic beauty of the landscape.

Throughout the exhibition, the film will run continuously and be accompanied by traditional music, creating a unique viewing experience that connects the imagery of Ireland's west coast with its rich musical heritage.
