Join acclaimed artist and fiddle player Catharine Kingcome for the launch of her new book and accompanying album, celebrating a lifetime devoted to Irish traditional music and art.

Best known for her narrative portraits of many of Ireland's leading traditional musicians, particularly fiddle players, Catharine's new book traces her artistic journey through 25 of her best-known paintings created between 1988 and 2000.

Alongside the book, her debut album celebrates her musical journey, featuring many of the tunes that directly inspired the paintings. Together, the two works offer a unique celebration of Ireland's musical heritage through both sound and image.

Catharine will be joined by renowned bouzouki and fiddle player Mick Conneely, bringing the music behind the paintings to life in a special launch performance.
